From July 29 to August 1, 2019, the first module of the series of seminars “Continuity and Consistency of GxP in the Pharmaceutical Industry” was held at the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Medical Technologies of Russia. The goal of the project is to familiarize participants with the system of good practices and connect them with the communication environment. Within the framework of the first module, participants plunged into the GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) system of norms and learned the basics of building effective communications in the professional community. The third day of the seminar, July 31, 2019, began with a speech by Tatyana Kashina, a veterinarian of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Health and Safety of the FMBA of Russia, who spoke about the use of biological test systems in conducting preclinical studies. The report detailed the requirements for the design and construction of a vivarium, the validation of biological test systems, the clinical and microbiological control of animals, the list of pathogens for identification in guinea pigs, the identification and assessment of animal health, the control of the environment, premises and auxiliary materials, work and main documents of the bioethical commission.

The forum is aimed at supporting current federal initiatives to develop the pharmaceutical market as one of the key areas that ensure a comfortable life and stability, creating the basis for the country’s dynamic economic growth. Unlike most of the events held on this topic, the forum does not have a pronounced conference orientation, focusing on “live” business communication of the participants and on organizing discussions on the most relevant topics for the industry.

On the example of developing a business LSI program. Partnering Russia, the training participants learned how to build the concept of business events, how to organize an effective brainstorming, how to competently manage the discussion and discussion in practice, which is the key in making decisions on the choice of speakers and experts, how the study of the program, topics and sessions is carried out .

In the second part of the event, these skills were useful for developing a SWOT analysis of the following target audiences: pharmaceutical manufacturers and the media. Participants worked out strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in their areas, which contributes to the formation of a strong communication concept in any project. Based on the developed SWOT analysis, the training participants will prepare their own final presentation within the final day.
