June 21, 2019 Farm Run took part in the section “Clinical Research – Science, International Experience and Investments in the Medicine of the Future” at the V St. Petersburg International White Cancer Forum 2019 “White Nights 2019”. This year the event confirmed its status as the largest event in the oncological industry in Russia: 5 & nbsp; 200 delegates, 850 speakers, including 140 foreign experts took part in it.
In the framework of the Clinical Research Section, a gratitude was given on behalf of the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Eurasian Economic Union for the personal contribution of leading industry experts in the preparation of substantiating materials for the section “Development of the Clinical Research Market” of the Strategy for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry for the period until 2030.
“In the new Pharma-2030 Strategy, for the first time, a separate section on clinical trials has appeared, which indicates the formation of a new stage in the development of the industry. And I am very glad that there are such experts on the market who have all the necessary competencies and experience to be included in the process of preparing such a serious document, ”Dmitry Chagin, Chairman of the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, noted at the presentation of the thank-you note, Eurasian Economic Union.
Sergey Simeniv, head of the contract research organization X7 Research, who was also awarded with gratitude, summed up the results of the “Exchange of international experience” session of the clinical research section and shared his vision of the development of both the global and the local clinical research market .
“I am a practitioner and rely, inter alia, on the practical side in organizing and conducting clinical trials. I am sure that in any quality and effective activity, the main principle works – to start with oneself. That is why we started by developing internal standard operating procedures that we fully follow. To increase the value of local research centers, it is important to start with the formation of standard operating procedures, which will best affect the level of clinical research in the market as a whole, ”commented Sergey Simeniv, head of X7 Research.
