On the second day of the First All-Russian Pharmaceutical Run, experts highlighted the acute issues of drug provision at the XX International Medical Forum “Quality and Safety of Medical Care” in Nizhny Novgorod. & nbsp;
Discussion “Actual issues of drug provision. Cross-industry view ”was opened by moderator Dmitry Chagin , chairman of the board of the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Eurasian Economic Union:“ It is very important for us, as the pharmaceutical industry and the initiators of the pharmaceutical mileage, to show our unity. The unity of factories, laboratories, scientists and researchers. Because over the past 20 years together we have been able to achieve really great results. “
The theme of the association was supported by Svetlana Kononova , chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Pharmacists Association: “It sounded here that we are one family. And a family is strong when every member of the family knows its role and successfully copes with it. ” The expert recalled the importance of informing patients: “In Russia, only 62% of people understand that generics are no worse than the original drugs. Worldwide – about 90%. Drug supply has always been, is and will be one of the pain points of social society. And what is being done in industry is the solution of many social issues. ”
The speaker also raised acute problems of the industry – pricing and training: “It is beautiful to report that we have cheap drugs, but their manufacturers exist in harsh conditions. There should be optimal approaches to pricing issues. Another problem is the training of specialists. We cannot train personnel without the help of industry. Those enterprises that will carry out practical training of specialists should have certain incentives in order to provide the necessary equipment and training opportunities. ”
The other side of work with patients was demonstrated by Olga Vostrikova , chairman of the international patient union: “We have wonderful drugs, unique doctors, but it is important to remember that each patient should be responsible for their treatment and taking the drugs. Yes, patients receive medicines, but, unfortunately, they do not always comply with the recommendations of doctors. ” The problems of financial distribution were also noted: “Now a lot of money is going to the regions. The main task is to correctly distribute them. We suggest thinking about how to plan your procurement wisely. For example, if the drug remains unclaimed, then you need to consider the transmission system to other regions. “
She shared the experience of Natalya Ochekurova , head of the drug supply and pharmaceutical activities department of the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region: “There is a built-in system in our territory, in the center of which is a patient and a doctor, and the rest of the participants are lining up around them. Authorized organizations provide a list of necessary services, starting with the purchase of medicines and ending with a personalized registration of the dispensing of drugs for each patient. It can be used in other regions. Many have already come to exchange experiences, and are already implementing this system at home. ”
The point of view of the pharmacy segment was presented by Victoria Presnyakova , executive director of SRO ASNA: “Pharmacies are on the first line of communication with patients. The world process is going to increase the role of the pharmacist, to increase his interaction with the doctor. While we do not have this. We need to make the pharmacist profession more socially oriented. ” The expert noted the shortage of personnel in pharmacies and the decline in the prestige of the profession, and also called on the pharmaceutical community to jointly solve these pressing problems.
