Farm run is the first event in this regard, and in scale, as it seemed to me, it ran across the entire territory of Russia. However, of course, in fact, Russia is much larger in size than the path that I have traveled. The route passed through historical Russia, forming in the past the Vladimir-Suzdal principality and the Novgorod Republic.
Leaving Kazan, we went to another city on the Volga – Nizhny Novgorod. The deer, a wise and noble animal, originating from Eastern traditions, has long been considered its symbol. This city is also known for its sunsets, which in a romantic atmosphere observe sweet couples on the embankment of the Volga River.
On the road from Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod, visually pleasing green colors of trees and fields were immediately evident. Hilly landscapes always made me take out a pencil and draw some sketches, and sometimes just put rough touches. One way or another, the beauty on both sides of the track was bound to be immortalized. Indeed, the panorama of the Volga and the steep high coast, covered with juicy colors of greenery and modest houses were warmly welcomed and at the same time escorted travelers.
In all the details, a certain old-time past was drawn, which did not want to let me go for a long time, but at the same time, when you sweep past it, leaving in your memory a game of colors and light interspersed with faded tones, embodied in ancient churches, narrow streets, parks and even in plain-looking huts of the last century, you are convinced for the hundredth time that life is a road furnished with decorations.
Moscow rushed past. I especially remember the spire and the top of the Moscow State University building, which was all buried in verdure, like a lost Mayan temple in the jungle of Mexico. Small traffic jams helped make out more ordinary high-rise buildings and industrial buildings of the Balashikha district.
Yaroslavl is beautiful. Its Kremlin seems similar to the Pskov and Novgorod Kremlin, and the inhabitants are very cultural and sociable.
