Earlier, I did not know that Russia is so beautiful. It is difficult to perceive it only through Petersburg or Moscow. They say that when a person lives in the same place, he begins to hate him. However, after Farm Run I was ready to love the whole world. New cities and landscapes were discovered for me, previously seen by me only on a TV box and in a dream.
Kazan was the first city that impressed me all without a trace. The beauty of the Volga, the view of the Kazan Kremlin and the atmosphere of oriental charm were worth a two-hour flight. That day I soared not only above the ground, but also above all the mediocre that surrounded me before. The great equality and blissful harmony of churches and mosques suggested the idea of the true mission of the Russian people as a complex organism, which has many facets, but a single whole. Kazan is a beautiful and clean city, on the streets cleaned to whiteness of which you will not even find a cigarette butt.
Also the capital The ancient Khanate is known for its beautiful girls, one of whom in the past charmed Ivan the Terrible, striking an arrow with his stern heart. She turned out to be the queen of Syuyumbike, about which the famous folk legend tells. After the victory over Kazan, the tsar of Moscow invited her to become his queen and rule together a single empire, where the Russian and Tatar peoples would rule together, but the beauty agreed to the proposal with one condition, if he built a seven-speed tower in a week. For seven days, the builders of Ivan built a tower and suddenly for all Syuyumbike climbed to the very top and jumped down, preferring death to the marriage bed. And to this day, that tower stands and is a symbol of the dedication of the young queen.
Summing up, I’ll say that I haven’t found a city more beautiful than Kazan and left my heart there.
